There are few people that have a presence , an auora that come into our lives. George you are one of these special people.

To Lorna and family, please accept my condolences at the passing of George. I remember him from when we lived in Tapanui and he was always very quietly spoken and respectful. Lorna I remember you from our school days in Tapanui and I am now living in Wellington.

Dapper George with your calm, quiet personality and witty sense
Of humour. You were such a popular, valued and well liked member
And friend of the Takaro Probus Club and Will be sadly missed by
Us all.

RIP George. I will always remember growing up across the road from you and David in Gillespies Line and I used to come over and help you with the ironing and help prepare your meals and set up the formal dining room with the fine china and silverware and candles when you were having guests for dinner. I will never forget the times as a young girl spent with you and David.
