Deeply saddened to read that
dear Gayle has passed away,so many great times on and off the Netball court ,she was so kind and friendly and always loved a chat, thinking of you Shannon with much love, at this sad time RIP Gayle

I am deeply saddened with the sad news of you passing Gayle. We have been friends since primary school, and have been trying to have a good catch up for some time, but sadly we didn't get that far. It will be my pleasure to get over to Palmy to attend the lovely Service your gorgeous daughter Shannon has organized for you, and gathering of family and friend's to share stories. You have been a very special girl to so many people, and l have so many wonderful memories with you, your cousin Margaret, my late sister Pamela, and myself, in the school holiday's at Foxton beach, those were the day's Gayle you will never be forgotten. When you and l were very young maybe about 13 year's old you were invited to play the piano at the Bridge Clubs weekly social evenings, they loved you there, we would bike there and l was just there as a friend and support for you l would sit and watch you play that piano in awa and admire your confidence, you were a super talented girl, also a great sportsman in many different categories. Well Gayle you have done a full circle, starting very young at the Bridge Club, and having your final Service at that very place, how special is that.
I send my Sincere Condolences to Shannon and family, and l will be there to say my last goodbyes to you Gayle, you gave been a special friend in my life. RIP Darling Girl.

Absolutely devastated to learn of Gayle´s passing. We had over 50 years of friendship through netball and Bridge. Lovely kind lady. Sending big hugs and all our love Shannon.
