Gavin Bernard:
On Friday, April 16 at Nepean Hospital, Penrith, Australia, following a long illness with Leukemia, Jesus quietly came and took his hand to take him home to Heaven. Devoted husband of Christine (Goldsack). Respected and loved son-in-law of Keith Goldsack. Much loved brother-in-law of Deane and Susan. Brother of Darrell and Allison Plumridge and loved by his many nieces and nephews. Cousin of the extended Coffey family.
Promoted to Glory
A Memorial Service for Gavin will be held in Palmerston North at a date to be announced. Messages please to 4 Herbert Avenue, Cloverlea, Palmerston North 4412.

My deepest condolences to you Christine. I first met Gavin when he was working at Summerset school and you both took our wedding photos, nearly 20 years ago! I will always be grateful I met you both.RIP

I was so saddened to hear of Gavin's passing.I haven't seen Gavin since I was a kid but my memories of him was always a friendly down to earth bloke and everybody's mate.Ive been seeing Gav and Christine on Facebook and it's inspirational how many hard times they were going through they would always be smiling.Such a strong couple and Gav is pain free now and Christine you can finally relax that he is now in a better place

Our dear Christine, we are deeply saddened by the passing of Gavin, and our hearts go out to you with loads of love, and sincere Prayers.
