LEWIS, Gavin John:
Of Palmerston North. On Monday, 9 May 2016. Died suddenly at home, now at peace after a long illness. Aged 74 years. Truly loved husband of Geraldine. Dearly loved father and father-in-law of Adam and Kate, and Jason. Much loved Grandad of Alexandra, Thomas, Devon, and Gene. Brother of Ngaire Wainohu (deceased), and Beverley Hansen, and loved by all our families in NZ, Australia, England and Dubai. "We will miss his delicious sense of humour and his love for everybody. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to Arohanui Hospice, which may be left in Chapel foyer. Messages to Mrs. G. Lewis, c/- PO Box 5191, Palmerston North 4441. A service to celebrate Gavin's life will be held in the Terracehaven Chapel, 697 Main Street, Palmerston North, on Friday, 13 May 2016, at 1:30pm. Followed by private cremation.

Dearest Geraldine, my deepest sympathy goes out to you at the loss of your lovely husband.
I always remember how kind Gav was to me when I crashed one of the cars in the fleet, he just laughed which made me laugh too, he had a gorgeous smile.
I know he will be missed immensely. xx
