Of Radius Peppertree Rest Home, Palmerston North. On 7th January, 2015, peacefully, aged 69 years. Loved father and father in law of Matthew, Natasha, Stacey, Jacqueline, Fiona, Donna and Murray and 18 Grandchildren and 3 Great Grandchildren. Fred became a very good friend during the brief five weeks I spent recently at Peppertree in "respite care". He decided that he wanted to make more use of the computer he had purchased a year or so previously and got himself an Internet connection and an email address. It opened a completely new world to him and I was privileged to assist him on his exciting journey.
He had a wonderful simple faith in God which he was not afraid to share with friends and family. His passing has meant that he has moved on to a rich reward - to which he was looking forward immensely.
