Fay BURNS Obituary

1931 – 2024

Our beloved mum, Fay Burns, died peacefully on Sunday, 11th February. She was happily married to Bob for 60 years and was a wonderful, generous and creative mum to Andrew, Diana, Susan, Stephen and Michael. Her family were her greatest joy and she adored her grandchildren Campbell, Leith, Avon, Ria, Brook, Lore, Jeremy and Isabelle. She was also immensely proud of her great-grandchildren who brightened her later years. Messages to the Burns family, c/o P.O. Box 5191, Terrace End, Palmerston North. In lieu of flowers, the family have kindly asked if those wanting to do so, to please donate to IHC in honour of mum's brother Pete, or Arohanui Hospice. A celebration of Fay's life is to be held on Monday, 19th February, at the Cotton's Chapel, 697 Main Street, Palmerston North at 10.30am. Mum loved colour, so please wear something colourful.

I'm so sorry to hear of the passing of Faye, she was such a lovely kind lady with a heart of gold.
Condolences to all her family at this very sad time. I had the priviledge of working for Bob & Faye for some time and kept in touch with them both over the years.
