Ernest Howard (Ernie):
Regt No 446075 Gunner WWII NZ Army. Of Palmerston North on 21 December 2020, at Cook Street Nursing Care Centre, aged 97 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Lois. Loved father and father-in-law of Richard and Pat (Paeroa), Neville and Stella (Palmerston North), and Margaret (Hastings). Much loved Grandpop of Daryl and Rachel; Rebecca, Kathryn, Deborah, and Caroline; Jonathan and Nicola. Treasured Great-Grandpop of Rhys, Cameron and Hamish, James and Tommy, Blake and Grace, Skyla and Holly, Sophie and Katie, Olivia and Lily-Ann. At Ernie's request, a private service will be held in January.
