Eric SIGNAL Obituary

It has been some 80 years since Eric & I were schoolmates at primary school but the memories of of a strong friendship, and Eric's great nature I continue to recall and I feel so sad on his passing. My condolences to the Signal family.

Our whole family loved Eric - his twinkly eyes and lively, kind humour made him fun to visit! My parents, Bruce & Joy, always loved holidaying with Lorna and Eric and their infectious laughter made them a joy to be around! Will always be lovingly remembered by the 'Bruce Fergusson clan'.

We met Eric and Lorna when Sam and Heather Lowry were living on the farm next to us on Colyton Road. I remember our family visiting them in Taupo. Our thoughts are with all of your family at this sad time.

SIGNAL, Eric Francis:
Passed away peacefully on Wednesday, May 31, 2023, aged 92 years. Dearly loved husband of the late Lorna. Dearly loved eldest brother and brother in-law of Faith and Alan Palmer (Whanganui), Russel (dec) and Jill Signal, David (dec) and Alison Signal, and much loved and respected uncle of all his nieces and nephews, also brother in-law and friend to Alan and Joan Fergusson. All messages to the Signal family, C/- 280 Kimbolton Road, Feilding 4702. A celebration of Eric's life will be held in the Feilding Funeral Chapel, 282 Kimbolton Road, Feilding, on Tuesday, June 6, 2023 at 2.00pm, followed by private cremation.
