I first meet Betty Philips...when I moved to Woodville as a young bride many many years ago...Such caring lady always happy to chat...so friendly. Donna my heart goes out to you...the days ahead will be hard the lost of our Mum no matter how long... we have had our Mum in our lives it is never long enough...you we so close to her and spent a lot of time caring and loving her...Moving forward in the days ahead treasure your memories of her they will be a great comfort to you...when a butterfly flies by I beleived it was Mum checking to see if I was are okay...also the lovely photo's such a lovely lady...always smiling...chatty...really care how you where.... her appearance was first class...A true Lady in every way.,,Sending Love and a Big Hug to you Donna. Lovely memories of Aunty Betty, she was always lots of fun. Robyn and I were both at the funeral today via video, sorry we couldn't be there in person. Aunty Betty taught me there is always room for pudding! Tonight I'm making her jam roly poly recipe in her memory - with tons of cream poured on top Sleep peacefully Aunty Betty xx

So sorry to hear of Betty's passing enjoyed our chats over the years and briefly caring for her at Waireka years ago I remember her telling me to use DB make up and I have ever since bless her we used to talk about the old days and have great catch ups. I remember telling her she me threw out of her garage in Ormond St when I was a teenager having a party with her sons with Graham we had good laugh about that her and Jim came home caught us all.
