45 years ago Mrs Houghton taught me the Lord´s Prayer and i drive for a living now and there isn´t a week that goes by without me saying it and thinking of Mrs Houghton. Years ago when televisions had knobs, i remember watching telly at the Houghton´s and the volume on the telly kept going quiet and then we saw the knob moving all on it´s own, I´m sure we were all about to start saying the Lord´s Prayer loudly when Mrs Houghton started laughing, she´d tied a long piece of cotton to the volume knob and was pulling it, a neat and fun lady and Gabrielle and Mrs Stephenson said it so beautifully and perfectly, a beautiful lady on the inside and the outside. To all the Houghton family, you are in my heart and thoughts.

One of my very favourite beautiful ladies... Having Beth in my Hair salon always bought chatter, laughter, stylish fashion,
Somtimes tears, always God and a Women both other clients and staff loved and respected. Beth and I had a very close connection as Beth reminded me of my Mum and Beth loved everything my Mum loved... her children Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren but at the top of the list was God
Beth will be happy to be where she is now.. she was tired and she deserved to be at rest.
Beth´s children can stand proud as they honoured and loved their mother so well
A fabulous family !!! RIP Beth.
Love from Gabrielle @ Spectra Hair

You taught Bible in Schools at Bunnythorpe and opened your home for ladies Bible Study and delicious morning teas - you were always a wonderful hostess.
Most of all you always shone the Christ light wherever you went.
