Margaret Gordon

I submitted this obituary with Elizabeth's former names by which she was known in New Zealand. Unfortunately these have not been included. She was born Elizabeth Gordon, became Elizabeth William and in later life Elizabeth Heij. She attended Kelburn School, Wellington Girls' College and Victoria University, and worked in Grasslands Division Palmerston North either side of PhD study at the University of Wisconsin, Madison. Her career in science continued in Kentucky and Georgia, USA and in CSIRO in both Queensland and South Australia. Latterly she was an author, poet and artist. From her loving sister, Margaret Gordon
