Passed away peacefully on July 2, 2023, at Princess Alexandra, aged 95. Dearly loved wife of Tom (deceased). Much loved mother of Ann and Steve, Jan, Ian and Suzanne, and Bruce and Alan. Loved grandmother of Scott and Melissa, Ross and Michelle, Dave and Sarah, Nic and James, Hamish and Nicola, Thomas, Murdoch and Caroline, and Morag and Bryan. Loved great-grandmother of Georgia, Abi, Sam, Fred, Harriet, Annabel, Maggie, Toby, Matilda, Camilla, Vanessa, Katie, Magnus, and Ella. Dearly loved sister of Dot (deceased), and Gwyn (deceased). Integral part of a close family of cousins, nephews, and nieces. Special thanks to the staff at Princess Alexandra for their care of Megan. In lieu of flowers, donations to Cranford Hospice would be appreciated and can be left at the service or made online at www.cranfordhospice.org.nz. A celebration of Megan's life will be held in the St. John's Cathedral, 28 Browning Street, Napier, on Saturday, July 15 at 1.30pm. Messages to the Carpenter Family, C/o PO Box 439, Napier 4140.

To all the Carpenter family, our sincere condolences. Many happy memories were made by our two families especially when building at Taupo together. At that time I particularly enjoyed the morning tea refreshments provided by Megan which consisted of cheese, gherkins and a cold beer! Later visits to PA were more staid but still warm and welcoming! So many fond memories. Di and Sim

My deep sympathy on the passing of Megan. I have been doing her here at Princess Alexandra for over a year now. She was always a delight and she taught me how she liked everything done. Are used to always say you´ve trained me well Megan. Rest now Megan and thank u for your amazing stories you shared.
