Sorry to hear about Betty, she was a great friend to my mother, Margaret. We miss seeing Betty's little green Mitsi parked outside Mum's flat. Our condolences to the family, rest in peace Betty.

With sympathy but happy memories of the time you lived in Rongotea, guessing in the late 1950s early 60s . Both Peter, as we called him and Betty were active members of the community.
Sadly many of Peter's work colleagues at W. Amey and Co have also passed away but those of us who were young at the time, but now growing older ourselves have memories of that time we shared together in our community.

My husband Tony and I have wonderful memories of visiting Betty in Limberick Street, and through the Palmerston North Lunch Club. She was a loyal friend, we really were honoured to have known her.
Our sympathy to you all. Jean Thompson-Church.
