Of Pahiatua. Elaine passed away peacefully at the Waireka Care Home. Dearly loved wife of the late Alen. Beloved mother and mother-in-law of Neil and Anne (Brisbane), Sharon and Mike Jepson (Wellington), and Joanne (Auckland). Treasured Gran of Nicole and Sam, Eleesa and Nick, Daniel, Adam, and Natasha. Cherished great- grandmother of Levison. Dearest sister of the late Vera and aunt of Megan, Pete & family, and the Perry Clan. A service to celebrate Elaine's life will be held at St Paul's Union Church, corner of Arthur and Huia Streets, Pahiatua, on Thursday 7 April 2022 at 2.00pm. Thank you Judy for your loving words after the passing of Mum. I think we 3 all had you as a teacher at Pahiatua Primary & that Mum spent many an hour at the school volunteering, and also for the community.

Neil, Sharon, Joanne, It is with sadness that I have learnt of the death of your mum. She was always the epitome of busyness, whether it was at the Library, in the local Museum or at Pahiatua School while you were youngsters. I shall always be grateful to her as she was amongst the first to volunteer as a parent-helper on excursions. She was always practical and well-organised. I have fond memories of both your parents. Please accept my sympathy. It is the end of an era.
