I first met Athol (RIP) and Shelley when I was a 15 year old (now 81) living across the road from them at Linton Military Camp where my father was Camp Commandant and Athol was an Army Education Officer who moved on to be a lecturer at the Palmerston North Teachers Training College. As an 18 year I baby sat his chilren on a couple of occaions when they lived in Palmy. A delightful couple. My deepest sympathy to the Forrest family. RIP Shelly

Shelley was a committed member of the Catholic community at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit in Palmerston North. She was in charge of training new Extraordinary Eucharistic Ministers me included. Then I took over the role when she and Athol left for Wilton. Rest in Peace Shelley.
