On 8 February, 2017. Beloved wife of Gordon. Dearly loved Mum of Bruce, Beth, and Stewart. Loved Granny of Shaun, David, Thane, Emma, and Bella and Great-granny to Ariana, and Liam. Mother-in-law and friend of Jeff, Christine, and Ashley. And a loved Aunt. A service for Eileen will be held at St Peter's Anglican Church, 229 Ruahine Street, Palmerston North, on Saturday, 11 February 2017, at 11.30am. Followed by interment at Kelvin Grove Cemetery, James Line, Palmerston North.

Eileen I have known you since I was a little girl and loved to see the friendship between our families. You and Gordon have had a wonderful marriage and I am so sad for your family. I will miss not being able to catch up with you. You are one of the brightest and most positive people I have ever known. You have done the journey well and now rest with the Lord. My deepest condolences to Gordon, Beth and Stewart.
