Eileen ANKERS Obituary

Passed away peacefully and surrounded by loving family on Wednesday, 19 February 2025. Aged 88 years. Dearly loved wife of the late Roy. Treasured Mum of Janet and Bruce Deihl, Peter (deceased), Carol and the late Pete Atkinson, Diane Banks, Clair and Danny Riddiford. Adored Grandma to all her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Much loved sister of the late Norman and Elsie; loved aunty of Gordon. Messages for Eileen's family can be left via robertjcotton.co.nz/funerals-tributes. Heartfelt thanks to Arohanui Hospice and the homecare staff for their dedicated support. A service to celebrate Eileen's life will be held in the Cotton's Chapel, 697 Main Street, Palmerston North on Monday, 24 February 2025, at 10.00am, followed by private cremation.

My condolencences to Eileen's family for your loss of a wonderful lady. I have great memories of playing ten pin bowls with both Roy & Eileen over many years. Great memories of attending 55+ ten pin bowling tournaments together with our Palmy club.
Sorry I am away so want be able to attend Eileen's service.
