ADAMS, Eileen Edith:
Of Palmerston North. On Friday 26th August 2022, peacefully in her sleep at Olive Tree Rest Home, aged 94. Dearly loved wife of Don (dec). Dearly loved mother and mother-in-law of Deidre and Arnold Robertson (Rotorua), Dinah and Don Harvey (Napier), Leonie and Neil McIntyre (Wollongong, Australia), Murray and Michelle Adams (Palmerston North), Adele and George Stokes (London, U.K.). Much loved Grandma to her 14 grandchildren and their partners, and Great-Grandma Eileen to her 14 great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the Fred Hollows Foundation Private Bag 99909, Newmarket, Auckland 1149, or online at www.hollows.org.nz. Donations may also be left in the Chapel foyer. Fitzherbert Rebus Club members

Eileen and Don were foundation members of Fitzherbert Probus Club (now Rebus). The Club recently celebrated 25 years and although Eileen was invited, she was not well enough to attend. We will miss her and remember her as a member of the craft group when she showed her quilts and told us of her quilting journey. Rest in Peace Eileen. Condolences to Eileen's family.
