Edward Raleigh (Eddie):
On Friday May 12th 2023 peacefully at home. Dearly loved husband of Sheryll. Loved father and father-in-law of Victoria and Jared, Jeremy and Lia. Much loved Eddie (Grandfather) of Samuel and Matthew; Cameron, Isla and Ellie. Loved brother of Mary and brother-in-law of Philip and Hilary and uncle of Natalya. Messages C/- [email protected] Friends are invited to attend a service for Eddie at the Beauchamp Crematorium Chapel, 167 John F Kennedy Drive, Palmerston North on Thursday May 18th 2023 at 11.00am.

Our memories go back over forty years and in my minds eye I see a red ute tootling to and fro up Ranfurly Road. Eddie is at the wheel and on the back windscreen is a sticker -Farmers Are Outstanding In Their Field. It is what defined his ute from every other red ute in the district.
I hear Eddie's droll sense of humor and see his easy-going approach to life in general, making us laugh. A great host and neighbour.
