John you will be so sadly missed at the Beach. I am so sad that won't be able to go looking for you on ANZAC DAY next year, your hug on those days was so comforting. Thank you Opey for being a cheerful support in my life be it all to brief. I am so grateful you got to live and love life at Foxton Beach. May you have an eternity of books to read to keep you inspired and Sunshine to warm your Soul. My thoughts to family and friends as you navigate the waves of grief.

To the Openshaw family; my sincerest condolences. Opie was a legend! A great mentor when I was a young fulla joining the stock transport industry, even though I didn't copy him by wearing the japanese jandal safety boots! He was a real character and will be missed by many.
Stuart and Claudette McClenaghan are away overseas and wish me to pass on their thoughts to you all also.
