Passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday 8 April 2026, aged 62 years. Dearly loved husband of Lynda. Loved father of Jamie and Danielle. A loved brother and brother-in-law of Donna and Nigel Armstrong, and Wayne and Christine Newall. A loved Uncle and Great-Uncle to Marie and Rebecca and Devon. All messages to the Pedersen family, c/- 167 John F Kennedy Drive, Milson, Palmerston North 4414. A memorial service for Doug will be held at Beauchamp Chapel, 167 John F Kennedy Drive, Palmerston North, on Thursday 16 April 2026 at 11.00am.

I am shocked and sorry to hear about my old school mate at Monrad Intermediate Doug you were one of a kind so passionate and such a good mate later years I met your lovely wife at Massey only saw you both at Xmas time in Pak Save and had a good yarn my friend you died far too young rip and wrapping my arms around Lynda and your darling kids xxxx

Condolences to Doug's family at this sad time. I knew Doug from when I was a cleaner at Countdown Rangitikei, 10 years ago. I have fond memories of him, and his son, Jamie. "Dougie", (as we used to call him) and I both have our birthday on the same day and it was funny wishing each other a happy birthday.
