Douglas MUIR Obituary
On Saturday 16 April 2022, Doug passed away peacefully at Wellington Hospital, surrounded by his wife and kids, aged 52. Dearly loved husband of 30 years and best friend of Rachael. Cherished dad and father-in-law of Jesse and Emma, and Kayla. Much loved son of Margaret and Neil, and step-son of Robert. Brother of Geoffrey, Jenny, Andrew & Kirsty. The family are forever grateful for St John Ambulance, and the incredible nurses and doctors at Palmerston North Hospital and Wellington Hospital, for their wonderful care of Doug. A service to celebrate Doug's life will be held in The Lychway Chapel, 5 Roy Street, Palmerston North, on Saturday 23 April at 11.00am, followed by private cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations via www.stjohn.org.nz or www.cancer.org.nz would be very much appreciated and may also be left at the service.
