Douglas MITCHELL Obituary

Doug passed away 12 December 2024, aged 66, in Arohanui Hospice, Palmerston North. Youngest son of the late Dot and Hugh, brother of Graham and (late) Colin. Doug was the much loved husband of Donna, loved father/father-in-law to Chanelle and Rob, Hugh and Donna, Ryan and Bethany, stepfather to Shannon, Ryan, and Liam, and the adored Grumpy of Eden, Alexia, Elly, Abel, Jack, Riley, Scarlett, and Auri. Thank you to all the staff at Ward 23 Palmerston North Hospital and Arohanui Hospice for their care during Doug's illness. In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to make a donation to Arohanui Hospice in memory of Doug. A celebration of Doug's life will be held at Foxton Beach Bowling Club at 1.00pm Wednesday, 18 December 2024.
