Dorothy WARD Obituary

Born 18.3.1931 Passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, at Woodlands Rest Home, Feilding, on 11 February 2026, aged 94 years. Cherished wife of Herb (deceased). Loved mother of Eugene, Avril, and Ken and adored grandmother of James and great-grandmother of Mason. She will be missed dearly but never forgotten. A service to celebrate Dorothy's life will be held at William Cotton and Sons Chapel, 29 Beattie Street, Feilding on Monday, 16 February 2026, at 11.00am, followed by private cremation. For those unable to attend, the service will be live streamed at www.williamcotton.co.nz/tributes In lieu of flowers, donations to Arohanui Hospice via www.arohanuihospice.org.nz would be appreciated.

Thankyou for allowing us to view the live stream of Dorothy's service. She was a very special lady. My sons Jesse & Michael visited your Mom & Dad in 2010 in Feilding. They remember Dot as a very lovely, warm person. I am sure all the Tuckeys ahead of her welcomed her into a warm embrace. My best to all of you.
