ASSMAN, Doris nee Isherwood Peacefully at Garden Terrace, with her daughter by her side, on Friday, August 13, 2010 in her 98th year. Beloved wife of the late Harold Assman. Loving mother of Bruce Assman (Arlene), Barbara Fisher (Peter) and former son-in-law John Grierson. Cherished grandmother of Michael Assman, Sandra Koenig (David), and Michela Fisher. Predeceased by her brother William Isherwood, of Detroit, Michigan. She will be dearly missed by numerous nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the 3rd floor staff of Garden Terrace for their exceptional care. Friends may call at the Westboro Chapel of Tubman Funeral Homes, 403 Richmond Road (at Roosevelt Ave) on Wednesday, August 18, 2010 from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday, August 19, 2010 from 10 a.m. until time of Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11 a.m. Cremation to follow. Interment in Prince George, B.C. at a later date. For those wishing, memorial donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada, 420 East Street North, Sarnia, Ontario, N7T 6Y5.
