On Tuesday, 28 August 2018, suddenly at home. Loved wife of Warren, much loved Mum of Suzi and Scott, and Tracey and Richie. Treasured Nana of Stephanie and Slade, and Kiara, and Lewis. Messages to Mr W. Hewitt, c/- PO Box 23, Pahiatua. A service to celebrate Doreen's life will be held in St Peter's Anglican Church, Albert Street, Pahiatua, on Monday, 3 September 2018 at 1.00pm, followed by interment at the Mangatainoka Cemetery, Pahiatua.

Although I never got to meet Doreen in person, we were Facebook friends through her working with my husband Callum.
Such a wonderful, supportive and caring friend Doreen became to me online!
I was very shocked to hear that she has left us.
