WAI, Don Mun:
Of Palmerston North. Passed away peacefully on Friday 24th December 2021. Eldest son of Joe Wai (deceased) and Yuen Hing Wai (deceased) of Palmerston North. Dearly loved husband of Ngan Kiu (Gill) Wai (deceased). Much loved father and father-in-law of Donald & Kuljira, Debbie & Tony, Darren & Maureen, Dennis & Catherine, Donna & Kevin, Diana & Murray, Darryl & Louise, Denise & Adam. He was an adored Goong Goong and Yeh Yeh to 17 grandchildren. A private family service has been held according to Don Mun's wishes. The Wai family would like to thank the staff at Ward 26 of Palmerston North Hospital for their wonderful support. Please send messages of condolences c/o Wai Family, P.O. Remember the family arriving in PN in the early 50's had a write up in the local newspaper, Mun was in my class at terrace end school. Happy memories of a family settling into a new country.
