Dianne was my French teacher at Girls' High, and later we met again when I did Cert TESOL at IPC. Her encouragement and academic rigour had a huge impact on me and I'm now a language teacher myself. Condolences David and Dr Beatson.

My condolences to a lady who taught so many people in the art of the English language. It was great working with you at IPC.

Dianne, you will be sadly missed by many people that you have touched the lives of over the years. I will always remember you for being the only person too teach about punctuation. You said the best method is, "if in doubt, leave it out". Go well dear lady.
