Derrick WHITE Obituary
WHITE, Derrick William:
Passed away peacefully at Gracelands Hospital Care Retirement Centre on Saturday 17th June 2023. Aged 96 years. Dearly loved and devoted husband of Gwen for 71 years. Adored father of Murray and Sian (Hastings), Alison and Rob Green (Palmerston North), Graeme and Alison (Nelson), and Susan and Kaz Hosokawa (Napier). A very much loved grandfather of 10 and great-grandfather to 13. Loved son of Doug and May White, and brother to Bev (d), Doug (d), Pam (d), Jill, Lenore (d), Anne, Robin and Brian. A service for Derrick will be held at St. Francis Church, Ferry Rd, Clive at 2.00pm, on Thursday 22nd June 2023. A special thanks to the staff at Gracelands for their care of Derrick. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St John's Ambulance or Lowe Corporation Rescue Helicopter.

My heartfelt condolences to Mrs White and family on the passing of Mr White. I remember him as a kind gentleman who was a dear friend to my grandparents, June and Stan Ward.
