Dear Colleen, May your heart be filled with wonderful memories of the life you shared together. He was a good man.

I feel the deep sorrow of my darling daughter, Colleen and my grandsons,
William and Andrew, who sadly lost their
Beloved husband and special Dad, Hermann on 3 January 2021. He loved them beyond measure.
He achieved his desire in life, to be successful.
He enjoyed his game of tennis, cycling into the beauty of the nature, jogging with Colleen and even took up his motorcycling again.......THIS was Hermann, who always reminded us that there is more to life, and
Yes, he enjoyed life and lived it to the fullest.
Then tragedy struck unexpectedly...... hard to believe, and understand why, my dear son-in-law was diagnosed with an incurable illness. A terrible shock to Colleen, the sons
and our family....
And so my son, you Rest In Peace, till we meet again.
Hermann will continue to stay with us, through wonderful memories ....

Dear Colleen , William and Andrew. We were so sad to learn from Karen that Herman had passed away. It was a pleasure meeting you again the last time we were in NZ under happy circumstances. You have been such good friends to Karen and Damian all these years. Our thoughts are with you all at this difficult time.

Our hearts are broken. Hermann will forever live on in our hearts and memories. He was a special man in so many, many ways! Sending you all our love our sister, Will and Ands.

Uncle Hermann was a wonderful man. He is gone too soon but he lived a full and beautiful life. I will take away so much that I've learnt from him and celebrate the impact he has had on so many and the love that he shared with you Coco, Will and Ands. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. It was a highlight not only for the tennis but the fun and infectious positivity received from you. You had a way of making us feel good! Thanks also for introducing me to the Premiers via Andy - something I would never have done! So sorry I didn't get to see you recently - rest easy partner.

We are very saddened to hear of Hermann's passing. Hermann was a gentle caring gentleman and a great doctor. I have great memories of the laughter we shared playing 'serious' tennis. I will miss him dearly. Our thoughts are with you, Colleen, Andrew and William.
