With love we remember

Sunrise 17th March 1942
Sunset 8th November 2025

We say goodbye with aching hearts to our dearest Dad, Ganggang and Great-Ganggang who has grown his angel wings to join his beloved wife Pamela. He moved through the world in his own steady way. He wasn't loud about his love - he showed it. The way he turned up with a jingle in his pockets. The way he lit up for his grandkids and great-grandkids - absolutely besotted - nothing made him prouder than seeing the generations after him grow. He had his phrases, his quirks, that little sideways smile when he was amused but refusing to show it. We will miss those. We will miss his voice in the kitchen. We will miss the way he filled a room simply by being in it. He lived and loved deeply - and he leaves us held together by that love still. He leaves behind stories that will be told at tables for years, and a legacy of simple kindness and quiet strength. We will carry him with us. Dad, Ganggang, Great-Ganggang - thank you for every day you gave us.

A celebration for Dennis will be held on Wednesday 12th November 2025, 11.00am, at the Foxton War Memorial Hall (Main Street, Foxton), followed by a private cremation.
