Denis STEVENS Obituary

Passed away at Bob Scott Retirement Village on Friday 6th February, aged 72. Darling to wife Jane; wonderful friend to Mary, Scott, Emma and Jenn, Karl and Liz; brother to Rick; brother-in-law to Judith; and T-Rex to Emma, Indie and Pyper. Denis and Jane would like to sincerely thank Jotika, Jo, Dee and all the wonderful staff at Bob Scott Retirement Home who have cared for Denis for such a long time. Their love, kindness, grace and humour will be forever appreciated. A memorial service for Denis will will be held in Cornwall Manor, corner Knights Road and Cornwall Street, Lower Hutt, on Monday 16th February at 10.00am. In lieu of flowers donations to SPCA or the Cats Protection League would be appreciated. Thank you.

It has been decades since Denis and I worked together and several years since we last connected. I was looking forward to catching up when I learned of his recent passing. I very much enjoyed working with Denis and, also, getting to know him personally. I remember his intelligence, integrity and sense of humour. RIP mate.

very sad to read of his death ,he was a neat neighbour when we both lived at Tawa had alot of fun and laughs my thoughts go to Jane and familiy.
