Alice SHUKER Obituary
Passed away peacefully at Lauriston Park Continuing Care, Leamington, Cambridge, surrounded by her family, on Thursday, 23rd May 2024. Dearly loved and adored wife of the late Denis. Much loved mother and mother-in-law to David, Cathy & Grant, Alison & Mark, Greg & Tonia. Cherished Granny to her 11 grandchildren.

A memorial celebration of Joan's life will be held at Cambridge Baptist Church, Queen Street, Cambridge, on Thursday, 30th May 2024 at 2.00pm. All communications to The Shuker Family, c/- 3 Hallys Lane, Cambridge 3434.

Gillian and I send warm condolences to Joan´s family. We were at the Central Baptist Youth Hostel with Joan in our university days and retain very nice memories of Joan, not just as an enjoyable friend but also as a fine mathematician who generously helped me at the time. She was always a lovely friend. We remember their happy wedding in Raetihi.
