David MURRAY Obituary

Formerly of Palmerston North (1978-2018), but more recently of Waimate. David passed away unexpectedly, but peacefully, at Timaru Hospital on the afternoon of January 17, 2025, surrounded by his family, at the age of 87. Loving, and much-loved husband to Claire, and a cherished father and father-in-law to Bert & Fiona, Ellie & Richard, Sam & Fehran. David was an adored Grandfather to David, Ben, & Matthew (Terry) along with Lucas, & Liam (Murray). He was also a proud, and very loved great-Grandfather to Flynn (dec), Georgia, Isobelle, & Lars. David's quick wit, empathy and integrity will be sorely missed by his many friends, including those made during his long career in the motor vehicle industry. He was a true and honest friend to all who knew him. A service will be held for David at Aoraki Funeral Services Chapel, Waimate, 11 John Street, Waimate, on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 12.00pm.
