David MEADS Obituary

MEADS, David Brian, of Waituna West. - On Sunday, August 25, 2013, suddenly at Wellington Hospital, aged 59 years. Dearly loved husband of Ros. Dearly loved and devoted father and father-in-law of William and Pip, Joanna, and Hamish. Much loved son of Brian and Elaine Meads and loved son-in-law of Bruce and the late Frances Paton. Loved brother and brother-in-law of Tony and Lorraine, Philippa and Henk Scholte; Adrienne, Keith Bone, Caroline and Richard Everts. A loved uncle to his nieces and nephews. Messages C/- The Meads Family, 871 Waituna-Tapuae Road, RD9, Feilding. In lieu of flowers donations to St. John Ambulance, PO Box 355, Feilding would be appreciated or may be left in the chapel foyer. Friends are invited to attend a service for David at the Beauchamp Crematorium Chapel, 167 John F Kennedy Drive, Palmerston Northon FridayAugust 30, 2013, at 1.30pm.

I knew and respected David through involvement in farming, fed farmers and meat and wool.
Always enjoyed debate in serious issues.
Saddened by this loss to local farming colour
