Dear Michele, Liam and Cameron and families
My thoughts are with you as you grieve for a partner and Dad.
I met Dave not long after he came to Massey and have shared many discussions and projects with him over the years, this included being one of his Lab rats for his PhD.
I've always valued our chats and occasional lunches where everything was up for discussion, including our families, the impact of Massey restructures, trends in farming and where former students had got too.
Dave was a proud family man, a respected academic and a great mate.
I would also like to acknowledge the team from Massey, and the rural sector who worked with Dave and formed many lasting friendships.
I, sadly will not be able to join the celebration of Dave's life but will pause to reflect and think of those gathered.
Rest in peace.
Aidan and Janne
