David EVANS Obituary
Of Palmerston North, passed away peacefully at Arohanui Hospice surrounded by family, on Wednesday 11th July 2018, aged 71. Dearly loved husband of Jenny, Dad to Gareth and Susan, Bronwyn and Stuart, Rhys and Fiona and Megan and Nathan, and Papa to Gabrielle, Hannah, Hayley, Logan, Callum, Harry and Austin. In lieu of flowers a donation to Arohanui Hospice, PO Box 5349, Palmerston North 4441 would be appreciated or may be left in the Chapel foyer. A service to celebrate David's life will be held at the Terracehaven Chapel, 697 Main Street, Palmerston North, on Tuesday 17th July 2018 at 1.30pm, followed by private cremation.

Dear Jenny and family,
Please accept my deepest condolences for your loss.
Dave was a huge influence in my early Insurance career which has spanned 32 years now. He taught me some fundimental key lessons and most of all his unrelenting attention to detail and doing things correctly, no shortcuts. Do it once and do it right and I have carried this through my career.
He always had a smile and never had anything negative to say. A true gentleman and always the utmost professional throughout his distinguished Insurance career.
It was a lovely tribute to Dave's life today and you can take solace knowing that he gave so much more in his life than he ever took, and that he is now at peace.
My thoughts are with you all at this time.

My sympathies to all, especially Jenny. I remember the kindness shown to me and my dad one evening at the hospital emergency department when we felt quite disoriented. You both did such great work as volunteers
