Dear Avril and family, you are very much in our thoughts with the passing of David. You were both such special friends to mum and dad (Ngaere and Bernie McDonald) and long time family friends. Thinking of David just now with his love music I had a sudden memory of the mission in Puketitiri and the shonkiest piano you ever saw, it didn't even have all it's keys!! But you know what? Somehow he managed to still play it so we had something to sing to.
So many memories have been crowding in this afternoon.
And I was so glad that I was able to be with you all today.
Precious memories never fade.
