Daphne Eileen "Bet":
Of Feilding. Passed away peacefully in Palmerston North Hospital on the 2nd of September 2017, in her 95th year. Wife of the late Joe Allen; mother & mother-in-law of Graeme & Dianne (P.Nth); Grandmother of Karl (Sydney) and Chris (Hamilton); godmother of Carol Pryce (Wanganui), Wendy Boerman (Martinborough), Pauline Brider (Wellington), Deb Ellis (Lower Hutt), Tania De Boer (Rotorua), Paul Riddell (Hawke Bay). Will be sadly missed by many. Special thanks to the staff at Ward 25, Ranfurly Manor and Judy Key (niece). A service for Bet will be held at William Cotton & Sons Funeral Chapel, 29 Beattie Street, Feilding, on Monday, 11 September 2017, at 2.00pm, private cremation. In lieu of flowers donations to Arohanui Hospice, PO Box 5349, Palmerston North 4441, would be appreciated and may be left at the service. Messages to the Allen Family, C/- 29 Beattie Street, Feilding 4702.

Aunty Bet I will miss you so much. You have been a big part of our life's. I thank you for the love you and Uncle Joe have given us all. Aunty Bet you were such a beautiful lady, not often did we catch you without your lippy on. You were always immaculate. I'm sad I never got to say goodbye but I did give you a extra big kiss at Christmas. Rest in peace with your beautiful Joe. You will always be in my heart. X

Dearest Aunty Bet, Mum and Dad could never have chosen a more wonderful God mother for us girls.
