Colin GILLESPIE Obituary

Passed away peacefully, on April 2, 2024, at Bainswood on Victoria, with loving family by his side, in his 80th year. Dearly loved husband of the late Elizabeth (Liz), dearly loved Dad of Deb, Darren, Maria, and the late Shane, treasured granddad of Leish, Simon, Jamie, Korie, Hayden, Jess, Dan, Caley, Liv, Holly, and Noah, and great-granddad of James, and Jordan. Heartfelt thanks to the staff at Bainswood on Victoria, who have been absolutely amazing. Messages may be addressed to: The family of the late Colin Gillespie, c/- PO Box 39001, Christchurch 8545. In lieu of flowers, donations to the RSA Welfare Fund would be appreciated, and may be made at rsa.org.nz, or text Poppy 8595 to instantly donate $3.00. The funeral service for Colin will be held in our Rangiora Chapel, Wai-mana, 92 Kippenberger Avenue, Rangiora, on Tuesday, April 9 at 2.30pm. Private cremation thereafter.

So very sorry to hear of Colin's passing. He was such a lovely man who I enjoyed dealing with after his wife passed away when I worked at the law firm in Rangiora. Thinking of you all.
