Colin GIFKINS Obituary

Passed away peacefully on Sunday, 23 November, 2025, aged 90 years. Treasured husband and soulmate of Nancy for 70 special years. Dearly loved Dad of John and Maureen, David and Donna, Kerry and Perry, Craig and Ana, and Lee. Much loved Grandad to all his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Messages for Colin's family may be left via robertjcotton.co.nz/funerals. Heartfelt thanks to all the staff of Chiswick Park Lifecare for their dedicated care of Colin. In accordance with Colin's wishes, a private family farewell has been held.

To Nancy, John and Craig, I was sorry to learn of Colin's passing and send deepest sympathy. I remember the 1973 Hatch Cup hockey and spending hours on the sidelines with Colin and Nancy, and in the Manawatu Junior Advisory committee with Nancy. It was great to rekindle our friendship at the Rankin Cup in Hamilton in 2001. Rest in Peace Colin
