Please accept my condolences.
Cliff is well remembered an excellent fat stock buyer and friend of the family an all round great guy.
He ran in the 800 yards final at the Commonwealth Games in Auckland in 1950 and played for the FOB Rugby in their heyday. No mean athlete that man.
Bloody great bloke was Cliff Simpson!

One of life's true gentlemen, always a smile and a pleasant greeting whenever and wherever you saw him. I remember he and Bruce Clare (and others) playing their games of snooker on Friday afternoons at the Rangitikei Club, all very serious but in the end it didn't matter who was in front. A great loss to our community

Condolences to the Simpson family on the loss of such a fine gentleman.
I have early memories of Cliff drafting Dads lambs in Stanway in the early 60's.
Before I joined Wright Stevensons in the late 1960's
he took me drafting with him to learn the trade.
The Marhall family and especially Raymond had a lot of assossiation with the Simpson family at Halcombe with farming, rugby and social events.
Cliff will be sadly missed by his wide cirle of friends and members of his family.

What a wonderful man Cliff was. We interviewed him a couple years ago for the Coach House
records. So pleased to have that recorded for posterity. Love to the Family.

Thinking of you all at this sad time. Cliff reached a great age and was a lot of fun paying snooker at the Feilding Club. A regular for afternoon tea. He will be sadly missed.
