It is with deep sadness that we annouce the passing of Claude Piriwiritua Ketu on 11th February 2024 at Waikato hospital. Loved son of Claude Turetangata and Aniwaniwa Oterangi Ketu. Beloved husband of Elizabeth (nee Carmichael). Loved former husband of Faye (nee Schultz). Father of Naomi, Nathan, Miriama and David. Loved step-father of Joseph, David and Alyssa Grant. Loved Koro of Paiahua, Te Urumaranga, Whetu Marama, Thomas, Rachel, Esther, Desire, Saiyan, Joshua, Hayley Jane, Russia and Sweden. Loved Great Koro of Te Atapo. Loved brother of Diana, Mae, Ellen, Robert, Nina, Lani, and Moses (deceased). Tangi to be held at Poutu Pa, Shannon, on Thursday 15th February 11.00am. Powhiri 10.00am.
