Clare COLE Obituary

Of Palmerston North (formerly of Rongotea and Wairarapa), passed away peacefully on Sunday 7th April 2024, aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Gilbert. Much loved mother and mother-in-law of Carmel RNDM, Patrick and Lori (USA), Loretta and Bill Roundhill (Blenheim), Frank and Alison (Wellington), and Bernadette and David Brokenshire (Rongotea). Loved Grandma of Johannah, Abigail, Leticia, Willie, Biddy, Cam, Jackson, Rachel, Billy, Kate, Sophie, and their partners. Great-Grandma of nine boys.
"Rest in peace"
Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Thursday 11th April 2024, at 11.00am, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 96 Shamrock Street, Palmerston North. Prayer service and the sharing of stories will be held on Wednesday at 6pm in the same Church. Our condolences to the Cole family. Clare was a genuine lady. I have many great memories of her particularly being opponents at table tennis.

My sincere sympathy to the family of Clare, on her passing. Clare and her husband, Gilbert were a wonderful couple. I remember doing a cross country run on their farm with Kia Toa Athletic Club.
