Christopher SANDFORD Obituary

Of Silver Fern and Arvida Olive Tree. Passed away at Palmerston North Hospital, surrounded by loved ones on Saturday 17 February 2024, aged 72 years. Loved and cherished partner of Kevin. Loved and respected by many. Thank you to all who cared for Chris through his battle with dementia. A special thanks to the staff at Palmerston North Hospital who compassionately helped Chris through his final journey. According to Chris' wishes, a private cremation has taken place.

Condolences to family and friends and all those who knew Chirs. Chris and Kevin were the most fantastic neighbors at Lakemba always lots of happy times with good friends. I first met Chris at Halcombe and just loved him instantly such a lovely gentleman. He will be greatly missed by so many. RIP Chris

So sorry to hear of the passing of Chris ..he was a wonderful neighbour and we missed his bright witty comments when the terrible dementia overtook him.

RIP Chris,not an easy journey for you,you had many friends who did not have the chance to say goodbye ,to your family in the UK, our condolenses.We remember the good times we shared with you and Kevin and your private thoughts.
