Catherine SHANNON Obituary

Of Eketahuna. As a result of a tragic accident Cath passed away on Friday 15th September 2023. Aged 53 years. Dearly loved daughter of David and Patricia Shannon (both dec). Loved sister and sister-in-law of Bob & Abegael, and Patsy. Adoring aunty of Michaela, Jesse, Vanessa, and Davey. A loved "Mum" to her Fur babies, Blue, Tara, and Chelsea. "Gone too soon, but we loved you enough for a lifetime." A funeral service for Cath will be held at the Eketahuna Community Hall, Haswell Street, Eketahuna, on Friday 22nd September 2023, at 11.00am, followed by her interment at the Eketahuna Cemetery. All messages to the Shannon Family, C/- PO Box 1014, Palmerston North.

What a dreadful thing to happen to such a wonderful person......Cathy was always there along with the rest of us, in the blue Skywards van, to meet and service the Dash 8 with food for all. What a team. She fitted in perfectly ........and Thankyou for the left over breakfasts that you made sure the loaders got. Bless ya Cathy and what a privilege to have known and worked with you .............Murray Matthews.
