Dear Maureen`s family,
We met Maureen very briefly on a train ride when we visited New Zealand. In those few hours she made us laugh and warmed our hearts with her kindness. On every major holiday I would call her and she would send us a card. To her we were her friends from Greece and she always made us feel special but in fact she was the special one. This year when we did not receive a Christmas card, I feared the worst and sure enough discovered this earthly angel had left us. I can´t wait to see her again and feel her warm presence again. She was a rare treasure I will miss but thankful that I got to experience. God Bless her soul and keep her memory alive in her family´s hearts.

Maureen you were the perfect mother, friend and companion. Your amazing care and concern for others, either as patients, foster children and family was what did produce the warmest of feelings, most certainly for me and a number of guests at your 85th birthday party. I was pleased that you came and shared time with Neill and I to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary. It was truly special spending time with you in your villa at Brightwater. Go with love, and while we are sad, the lovely memories I have of you and Jim, does make me smile through my tears.

To Paul Meg and family
I was very sorry to hear of your loss. Maureen was a lovely caring woman and I have special memories of her visiting my parents with holy communion for many years. I am sure she is with Jim and smiling down on everyone. My thoughts are with you all at this time.
