Caroline NOARO Obituary

18 July 1943 – 18 April 2025 (81 years)
We are sad to announce the peaceful passing of Caroline, a dearly loved and cherished wife of Peter and beautiful mother to her children Sarah, Jane, Rebecca and Adrian. Fabulous mother-in-law of Chris Print, Jono Read and Sara Noaro. Devoted Grandma to Georgia, Jackson, Amelia, Sylvia, John, Giacomo and Chiara. Wonderful sister of Kate and Hannah, caring sister-in-law to the late Jack, and a much loved aunt and great-aunt. A true and treasured friend to many, who will be dearly missed. A celebration of Caroline's life will be held in the Cotton's Chapel, 697 Main Street, Palmerston North, on Thursday, 24 April 2025, at 1.00pm, followed by private cremation. In tribute to Caroline's luminous spirit and impeccable style, we invite you to attend in your most glamorous attire: an ensemble that reflects the elegance and joy she brought into our lives. A livestream will be available via Caroline's tribute page at robertjcotton.co.nz/funerals-tributes for those unable to attend, where messages for the family may be left. Sharing and celebrations will continue from 5.30pm at the Opiki Hall, 926 Opiki Road, as we honour Caroline's vibrant soul, warmth and infectious spirit.

It was a shock to learn of Caroline's death. While I had not seen her for more than 40 years, we had a good chat at Gordon Paterson's funeral in the middle of last year.

It was great to reconnect with you then, too, Sarah. Your Mother added colour and energy to the Opiki community.
