Caitlin PAUSÈ Obituary
Passed away peacefully in her sleep at home on Thursday 24 March 2022 aged 42 years young. Dearly loved daughter of Paul and Megan Pausē (Midland Texas, USA). Loved and respected by all her aunties, uncles, cousins and friends worldwide. A service for Cat will be held at Wharerata Function Centre, Massey University Campus, Palmerston North, on Friday 8 April 2022 at 11.00am. In lieu of flowers a donation to Night Rave Greyhounds, 116 Taonui Road, Aorangi, Feilding 4775, where Annie began her journey into Cat's life would be appreciated.

I would like to offer my condolences to Caitlin´s family and friends. I am a student from northcentral university. I was currently working with Dr. Cat Pause´ on my doctoral dissertation. She was a beautiful person, always generous with her time. You will be greatly missed by many.

As a data analyst I helped Cat with her work on several occasions. I used to look forward to her requests for data because she was always so nice to deal with. She was pleasant, patient, worked hard to understand unfamiliar data concepts and was always so grateful for any help. There has only been one time in my whole working life when I received a handwritten Christmas card from the US thanking me for my help during the year! Cat was a rare treasure and the world is just slightly less bright with her untimely loss.
