Well Bruce, where do I begin. Thank you for our growing up years.Home in Keith street was our playground, the lamppost races, hose fights, birthday parties etc all a shout over the fence to make it happen. Then Bruce,as young men the "let's not get lost in the bush tramps",badminton comps, being each others Best Man,lots of good time memories to ponder. I'm sorry we lost touch over the latter years but I have heard your family, wife and children describe you as a Family man, proud of them as they are proud of you.Keep your Heart of Gold Bruce. Reece

So sorry to hear of Bruce's passing will always remember him as my brother David's best friend. Always went out of his way to stop and chat especially when he was an orderly at Palmy hospital. Condolences to the Ward family. Rest In Peace Bruce.

Dear Bruce,
It is hard to think of you in past tense! It doesn't feel right & it feels so wrong. You were a shining light with a soul so loving, caring & genuine. You always made whoever you were talking to feel worthy. Thank you for being so special & kind. We will not forget our childhood memories. All those fun days in the sun. All the running around the neighbourhood. All the holidays at Foxton beach. Priceless times. If only we could turn back the clock. We all loved your gorgeous smile & twinkly eyes. You were charming. You always chose to make everyone you cared about happy & ok. And we all wanted you to be happy too.
You were a beautiful person to everyone Brucey. Looking after & caring for your Mum & your brothers. And the endless eternal love for your own family. Your children & their children you loved to the fullest extent of your being.
You will be deeply missed & the hole you have left in your family is immense. It is so hard to say goodbye but you will live on in our hearts & minds. And your legacy is strong.
Please try not to get into too much trouble reuniting with your little sis!! For now adieu lovely man. We love you.
